Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a treatment that uses hypnosis to induce a deep state of relaxation. It is a safe, non-invasive and enjoyable process that can change lives in the most amazingly positive way, allowing individuals to achieve their full potential.

In the course of a typical day, we enter hypnotic states many times; for example, daydreaming about the future, experiencing pleasant events from the past or being absorbed in a good book or a film. Hypnotic states even occur in the car; arriving at a destination but not fully remembering travelling from A to B.
Hypnotherapy is used in a number of clinical fields including psychotherapy, midwifery, surgery and dentistry. It can also be used for non-medical disorders to help people overcome challenges such as unhelpful behavioural patterns, driving test, wedding or exam nerves, eating disorders, irrational fears, anxiety states, insomnia and unwanted habits. It can also help improve confidence and self-esteem, sports performance and much more…..
Jackie is happy to teach self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques which can be used at home.
Hypnosis is a natural and effective way of making contact with the inner unconscious part of ourselves; a source which often not only contributes to many of our problems, but is an extensive reservoir of unrecognised strength, knowledge and inner healing potential. When used as a therapy, a deeply relaxed state of mind is reached through a variety of relaxation techniques; this in itself is very beneficial, especially in the treatment of symptoms caused or aggravated by stress. This hypnotic state feels very pleasant and is often described as feeling ‘very relaxed, yet fully alert’, where you are in full control of everything you do.
